The government has increased the age to which all young people in England must continue in education or training, requiring them to continue until the end of the academic year in which they turn 17 from 2013 and until their 18th birthday from 2015.
This section of the Department of education site provides more information about raising the participation age.
We believe that partnerships between business and education have a crucial role to play in meeting the challenges of our time.
Our mission - all young people in Gloucestershire leave education with the skills and knowledge to fulfil their aspirations and those of the business community.
