Small Business Ideas
Today Tens and Thousands of people are considering starting a home based business and for good reasons. On average, people can expect to have two and three careers during their work life. Those leaving one career of ten think about second or third career move being to their own home. People who have been part of the traditional nine-to-five work force and are on the verge of retiring from that life are thinking of what to do next. The good news: Starting a homebased business is within reach of almost anyone who wants to take a risk and work hard.
Gloucestershire County Council has announced the latest round of grants from the YES Innovation Fund. Applications are invited from organisations working with young people furthest from the labour market to help them gain employability skills that will increase their chances of employment or starting their own business. The Fund is intended to help new projects test ideas and is not available to provide on-going support to pre-existing projects. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday 7th October 2015.
