Say Yes2 Your Future

Nov 6 2013

A new skills and information booklet has been sent out to over 20,000 students in Gloucestershire to give help and advice about their post-16 and post-18 education and training opportunities as well as updating them on the implications of the Governments ‘Raising of the Participation Age’ (RPA).

The booklet gives contact details of 6th form schools, colleges and other work-based training providers as well as information about all of the available options such as apprenticeships and traineeships.  It contains lots of case studies from Gloucestershire young people who have all taken different paths plus articles detailing the winners from the recent Grow Gloucestershire Showcase Awards.

Gloucestershire County Council hopes that the information will encourage and inspire students who are currently in Years 11, 12 and 13 to seriously think about their future careers and start planning how they will achieve their aspirations.

The booklet can be viewed as an online flipbook >
