NuVibe Streetdance Fundraising
Hi, we are the mum’s of the NuVibe Street dancers from Gloucester & on 8th March 2015 our daughters made us extremely proud. There are 7 of them in total & they range from age 10 to 12. They have been competing together in local competitions for almost a year now. In November last year they competed in the UDO Welsh Championships in Newport. Although they didn't do as well as we hoped it did give them a new focus. They wanted to compete in the UDO British Street Dance Championships in Brean, which were held over the weekend of 6th, 7th & 8th March 2015. All the girls worked really hard learning a brand new routine, with their fantastic dance teacher, Sam Shears at Streethouse Studio Dance School.
But more than that the girls worked very hard to raise the funds to go to the championships. They did bag packing at Asda & Morrisons, held cake sales, raffles & sponsored walks etc. They managed to get the money together for the event & a new team costume.
On Sunday 8th March they performed in the under 14 beginners section of the competition against 11 other teams from all across the country. The girls put everything in to it & came 1st. This means they have qualified for the UDO World Championships in Glasgow in August. In order to get there & perform over the weekend they need to raise a lot of money.
If you are able to help in any way either big or small. We are looking for raffle prizes or ways to raise more funds. Thank you for reading this & we hope someone can help.
Even a like of their Facebook page goes a long way to encouraging them.
